IEA Team at Cornerstone FarmFormed in 2007, the Cornerstone Equestrian Team competes in Zone 1 of the Interscholastic Equestrian Association. IEA competitions are similar to IHSA horse shows- the host Team provides all horses and rides are assigned by random draw. IEA is a great preparation for inter-collegiate riding, and some of our Cornerstone Equestrian Team riders have gone on to have great IHSA careers!

The Cornerstone Equestrian Team is open to all hunt seat riders in grades 6-12. New riders are always welcome; you do not have to be a regular Cornerstone student or attend a particular school to participate. The practice season begins on September 1 with weekly discounted lessons, and competitions run from October until February with Regional and Zone Finals held in March.
